» EMI Invests $1 Million In Our Customers
» The Lighter Side of Machining
EMI believes that our customers win by being the best partner to their own customers.
In order to help our customers win, this year EMI already has invested more than $1 million in new high tech lathes.
So, as we have done many times over the decades, we invested in a multi-spindle, multi-axis lathe from CMZ. This machine can work three tools simultaneously and is ideal for longer production runs.
This time a Swiss lathe made the most sense, so we brought in a Citizen L-32x. Paired with a 12-foot Edge bar feeder and working 3 shifts a day, we now can produce small parts in huge volumes.
If you’re thinking about how to ramp up your volume quickly, let’s start a conversation about how EMI can help your next win.
For the past several months EMI has worked through a strategy and branding exercise. An important result is sharpening how we can support our customers in how they deliver value to their own customers.
One thing we’ve made explicit is it’s important for us is to be an alternative to the typical “job shop” short-term, transactional mentality.
A fact you might not know about EMI is that our very first customer from 1968 is still a customer we speak with every day.
We have always looked to form long-lasting relationships centered on collaboration and planning.
Our strategy work boils down this concept into this simple value statement:
EMI helps Advanced Manufacturers with Outsourced Production
so they can Win by being the Best Partner to Their Customers.
If you’re looking to move past short-term thinking to long-term production partnership, let’s talk.
