This "beauty" is our Part of the Week. Let's take a look!
EMI is a full service machine shop, with services ranging from CNC milling & turning to surface finishing, from marking & engraving to welding & brazing.
Let's take a look at how we create a welded frame for one of our customers.
The process starts with receiving raw materials from one of our metal suppliers. In this case, stainless steel.
"Sittin' on the Dock of the (Delivery) Bay" (with apologies to Otis Redding, 1968)
Next we measure twice and cut-to-size once.
After clamping into place, we're ready to weld.
Of course, after welding the frames need some polishing to clean things up a bit.
And when everything is ready to go, we send them to our customer.
To be clear, we can ship to Boston. And other places, too.
Each week we will feature something we've been working on. We hope you'll find these posts informative.
