This "beauty" is our Part of the Week. Let's take a look!
WHAT'S THIS?
This is EMI's largest tumbling machine.
THAT'S COOL!
Tumbling is an important step in getting the parts right. As the tumbler machine rotates, the ceramic media rubs against the parts to deburr & smooth edges, clean surfaces, and polish in some cases.

I see you're a Gemini. I'm a Sagittarius myself. Can I buy you a drink or some small pieces of ceramic media?
EMI's rotary tumbler carries ceramic tumbling media. Ceramic tumbling media is used on metal parts for aggressive deburring, heavy material removal and surface smoothing.
Because ceramic is a durable, high density material, it is ideal for hard metals like steel and titanium, providing faster cycle times while withstanding significant wear compared to plastic and other types of media.
The triangular shape used is good for penetrating slots, angles and other hard-to-reach crevices, which helps us to work with a wide range of customers' parts.
