These 316 stainless steel lovelies required a significant time investment.
Starting from steel slugs weighing over 100 lbs, each of the cylinders on the right are what results from 3-4 hours of CNC turning.
After a quick check in our quality assurance lab, we took the cylinders to our milling operations.
6-8 hours of milling time later we see the final product on the left ... and a boatload of SS chips headed for recycling.
