POW! Quality Measurements on a Complex Aluminum Part

This beauty is our Part of the Week. Let's take a look!

WHAT'S THIS?

This short video shows one of our Carl Zeiss Spectrum Coordinate Measuring Machines verifying the work we've done on a precision-machined aluminum part.

Check out the Zeiss as the Zeiss checks out the Part!

THAT'S COOL!

Here we're showing how we measure the work on all sides of a part, including hole diameters, confirming parallel and perpendicularity, arc edges and more.

All the GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) measurements are captured by the same machine in a single activity set.

This is important because the tolerance required for this part is 0.03mm (0.0012in). This is no sweat because our machine can accurately measure to 0.003mm (0.00012in)!
