If you haven’t heard the news, our company's owner, founder, and dear friend, Daniel Evans Jr., passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026.
Dan was an extraordinary leader whose passion, integrity, and vision who built Evans Machine into the company it is today. Over the years, he developed strong relationships with many of you, and his impact on our industry, our community, and all who knew him will not be forgotten. The overwhelming support, condolences, and kind words we’ve received have been deeply appreciated and have left us truly humbled. We give our humble thanks to the more than 2000 people who honored his memory at the visitation.
Please be assured that Evans Machine, Inc. remains fully operational. Our leadership team is working closely together and Tom Roach will be guiding our daily operations moving forward as Interim CEO and President. The team on the floor have really pulled together to ensure seamless continuity of business operations.
Your current projects, orders, and points of contact remain unchanged. Our team remains dedicated to maintaining the same high standards of service, quality, and collaboration that you have always experienced with us.
Dan would have expected nothing less.

In addition to being very active in promoting the trades, Dan volunteered his time to countless organizations including: Norwich University, Xaverian Brothers, Metro South Chamber of Commerce, South Shore Vocational Advisory Board and Brockton Work Force Development.
Charitable donations in his name will be welcome at Norwich University c/o Fins and Feathers and Victoria’s Victory Foundation, a nonprofit helping those with mobility disabilities.
