EMI's Quality Assurance department has a library of many (many!) hundreds of pins and gauges that we use to verify the hole sizes our customers demand.
Holey moley!
Actually, these days we use our CMMs to perform many of the verifying measurements, but we always keep our pins and gauges up to date because, well you never know when a physical pin in the right tool for the job.
In reality, the picture shows only a limited portion of the library we maintain.
(No, this is not a plea from the marketing team for an extra, extra wide angle lens camera to get them all in one shot! 😉 )
