Our customers depend on EMI and we work hard to earn their confidence. One way we build customer confidence is to remove uncertainty from our material suppliers.
Now, don't get us wrong -- we work with outstanding suppliers with relationships stretching back decades. But everyone makes mistakes and it is our duty to get it right when parts ship from our dock.
Quality can't come out unless quality first goes in. And that starts from the moment we receive the raw material stock from our vendors.
To take the extra step for quality, we recently took delivery of a handheld XRF analyzer. This allows us to perform rapid, non-destructive identification of metals and alloys to verify the raw material stock when it arrives in-house.
Below we're snapping a shot of the raw bar stock, with it's future finished look in the foreground.
No, we will NOT reveal the identity of the lovely hand model holding the XRF gun.
