Here is the newest addition to our family of CNC machines: a new Okamoto Grinder!
More than coffee in our daily grind
THAT'S COOL!
EMI invests in new machinery every year. Only a few months ago we added a great big 5-axis milling machine and pallet attachment to our lineup.
To get 2026 off to a good start we've just replaced our surface grinder with a new Okamoto ACC-16.32GX.
This CNC workhorse handles parts up to 16" x 32". It features an electromagnetic chuck to keep parts secure while the grinding wheel spins at 1800 rpm.
Best of all, this machine grinds to an accuracy of 0.0001" (0.00254 mm).
