THAT'S COOL!
This is a titanium mounting and positioning handle we recently created using one of our 5-axis milling machines.
EMI does a lot of work with scientific instrumentation companies and, as is common for their requirements, this part required strict accuracy and strength requirements.
The chosen material, titanium, offers a compelling strength to weight ratio and is commonly used in applications where every ounce matters, such as in space and aviation.
