Swiss (But Not Cheese or Cuckoo Clocks)

This "beauty" is our Part of the Week. Let's take a look!

WHAT'S THIS?

This is a brand new Citizen L-32x Swiss lathe.

THAT'S COOL!

Earlier this year a customer approached us and asked if we could help them. Their challenge was they needed to expand production rapidly of some tight tolerance parts to meet important corporate goals.

Our existing stable of high tech lathes could handle much of their needs, but in order to hit their deadlines we needed to add some small part capacity.

So we made some calls, pulled a few strings and quickly brought in a new Swiss lathe to help our customer.

To optimize production capacity, we added a 12-foot Edge bar feeder.

Twelve feet. That's twice as long as a 6-foot bar feeder. (Trust us, we checked the math.)

Since EMI operates 3 shifts 6 days a week (and more when our customers need us to) we are hitting the production volume target, which helps our customer win their market.

If you're looking for a production partner who can help you win, reach out today.
