Large and in Charge

This beauty is our Part of the Week. Let's take a look!

WHAT'S THIS?

In the foreground you can see one end of a 4-foot long, curved milled aluminum part. In the middle you can see the, uh, middle of the same part. And off in the distance the very same part continues to the hazy horizon. (Or, to the end of the work table, whichever comes first.)

Fully four feet of metallic joy

THAT'S COOL!

Many times we show how EMI can create smallish, complicated parts.

But EMI also has the tools and the talented machinists to create much larger parts while hitting equally tight tolerances.

For this part we rough milled, stress relieved, finish milled, deburred and polished to successfully hit the final outcome our customer needed.

ABOUT POW!

Each week we will feature something we've been working on. We hope you'll find these posts informative.
