Be Steel My Heart

This beauty is our Part of the Week. Let's take a look!

WHAT'S THIS?

These 316 stainless steel lovelies required a significant time investment.

4836 croppedUp to a dozen hours of work to look this good. If only the same could be said about this post's author. :-(

THAT'S COOL!

Starting from steel slugs weighing over 100 lbs, each of the cylinders on the right are what results from 3-4 hours of CNC turning.

After a quick check in our quality assurance lab, we took the cylinders to our milling operations.

6-8 hours of milling time later we see the final product on the left ... and a boatload of SS chips headed for recycling.

ABOUT POW!

Each week we will feature something we've been working on. We hope you'll find these posts informative.
